Admin

The Admin page is only available to users who log on to txGradebook with a district- or campus-level security administrator user ID. The page provides a list of pages associated with grades that are available in txGradebook. The page is accessed by clicking Admin on the main menu.

Perform one of the following:

      Click Admin Options to select the teacher for whom you want to log in with administrator privileges. After you select a teacher from this page, you can access txGradebook as if you were that teacher.

      Click Admin Discipline Referrals to retrieve a student by campus and student ID or name, and view the discipline records entered for the student by a teacher.

      Click Admin Long Term Substitutes to maintain a list of long-

      term substitute teachers who are granted access to use txGradebook on behalf of a teacher who is out for an extended period of time.

      Click Admin Student Grades to view semester exam grades, semester and final averages, and credits awarded for all of a student's courses. This allows administrators to determine UIL eligibility and locate students who may be at risk for losing eligibility. Before viewing this page, you must select a specific student at a specific campus on the Admin Student Grades - Find Student page.

      Click Exchange Teacher Settings to move the setting for one instructor to another instructor, such as moving a student group from one teacher to another.

      Click Elementary Skills-Based Setup to set up grading types, skill sets, and associated skills for producing elementary skills-based report cards.

      Click Elementary Skills-Based Report Card Setup to set up report cards that teachers can print from the Grades menu.

      Click Elementary Skills-Based Courses to associate a course (and all of its sections) with a specific elementary skills-based report card. The settings for the report card determine how grading is handled for the course.

      Click Print Elementary Report Cards for Campus to print all elementary report cards for a particular report card type.

      Click Copy Skills-Based Report Card Grades to copy skills-based grades from one cycle to the next.
